Since many years I am working on art and design

The beginning

Already at school I was very fascinated to take a step further in art education. Not just praticing on one perspective, but to try two or three or to work on offshoots of a task. Getting to know the different materials pencil, charcoal, chalk, acrylic or oil has strongly influenced this first phase. Based on a photorealistic approach and the claim to perfectly reproduce what is seen and to capture perspectives down to the smallest details.

Experimental

During my business education I visited the art class of the Cologne-based artist Regine Burré in evening lessons. This was the step beyond photorealism: it became experimental. Use of various additional materials such as sand, tissue paper or putty allowed, together with a strong gestural approach of painting, the focus on the overall composition. But also completely new techniques I could take up in my fund and test out. What should be figuratively achieved in the end? Or is the way already the goal? I further deepened these experiences in my own studies.

Handmade meets digital

After my education and first job experience, the creative call was very loud. I wanted to deepen "handmade", continue to learn, to complete. A graphic and design study also led me into the digital world. Good design needs to be learned, developed and understood. In parallel, I enjoyed the artistic education with Professor Siegfried Ijewski - an absolute color specialist. Based on this I developed a consolidated art style: modern landscape painting, motives that elude the overall view. Mainly in acrylic as well as gouache and watercolor.

In addition, the design path followed at the same time: from graphic designer to product manager, from sales manager to project manager and finally marketing manager as an allrounder between sales, online / offline, new media, production, trade fairs and much more. Digital does not always strike everything - it depends on the target, the frame and the mission. That's how I got to know and appreciate Graphic Recording. Long known and even refined in the royal discipline "Visual Facilitation" as "graphic protocols" of meetings and events in the US. The visual tracking and preparation of contents, questions and contexts with the aim of simplification, structuring and solution finding.

Visual ambassador

Based on my way of experience, nowadays I work as an ambassador of all disciplines, I am artistically established and vary - depending on the task and goal - the use of media and the translation to the users and customers.

My philosophy is still characterized by openness and interest in all these areas and the absolute spirit to learn and achieve the best results.
